Inked Up Custom Designs was organized in September 2015 in Atlanta, GA. We are registered with the State of Georgia as of January 2016.

The owner, Ivan Jones, is a native of Birmingham Alabama and was a classroom teacher from 2011-2017 having taught in the Selma (AL), Birmingham (AL) and the metro Atlanta area. He used t-shirt printing as a side hustle to make extra money while teaching and eventually was able to make a career out of screen printing. He started the business with the goal in mind to ensure schools get the best quality gear for their students and staff. While we work with everyone for their branding or “merch” needs, schools have been the most supportive clients throughout the years and for that we are forever grateful.

We specialize custom screen printing, direct to film (DTF), and vinyl printing. Unfornately, we do not offer embroidery.

The company’s motto is “Bringing the INK to life with YOUR designs”. This goal is being accomplished by the use of local, and national organizations, groups, schools and individuals whose needs are fulfilled with our high quality designs and impeccable customer service.

Ivan Jones is a graduate of Alabama A & M University and Boston University. He is also a proud member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia Fraternity of America, Inc., Board Member for the Carol W. Hayes High School (Birmingham, AL) Alumni Association, Inc., and member of Alabama A & M National Alumni Association Inc. As a life long learner, he has attended several workshops for printing including the Impressions Expo in Fort Worth, TX where screen printers and other apparel designers from around the country meet and collaborate along with vendors to ensure their apparel businesses are well equipped and knowledgeable of the current trends in the apparel printing industry.
